This brand new Gethsemane style is part of a special Easter Collection collaboration between Boon Ties & The Red Headed Hostess.
The Gethsemane design incorporates powerful symbolism tied to Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection. The white and blue flowers are from the dogwood tree, which represents the wood of Jesus' cross, while light green poppies, found in the Garden of Gethsemane, symbolize remembrance and death. The white and pink lilies of the valley reflect Jesus' purity, humility, and righteousness. The roses honor Christ’s blood shed on the cross, and the olive trees, which filled the Garden of Gethsemane, symbolize the Atonement through the pressing of olives to create the sacred, healing oil. Green symbolizes rebirth and eternal life, perfectly capturing the spirit of Easter.
