Care and Cleaning - Somebody gave your son a red sucker? No problem - Stains are best treated with a very small amount of mild detergent on a wet rag- baby wipes are actually our favorite if you have them handy. Avoid scrubbing the tie in one area as to not damage the fabric fibers. Think blot, not scrub. If a baby wipe doesn’t do the trick, you can hand wash in the sink with a mild detergent and then lay the tie flat to air dry.

If your entire tie needs to be cleaned, you can wash in a washing machine.

  • Pre-treat any stains
  • Place tie in a garment bag (this is super important)
  • Machine wash on a gentle cycle, cold setting
  • Lay flat to dry. DO NOT dry in dryer

Fit Tips

Mens Tie Fit - Regular Tie OR Big and Tall

  • Modern length - this is our best selling size tie will fit most men, even really tall fellas. So much of best fit for mens ties depends on the knot used to tie it. Some knots use up more length than others. With the simple knot, men up to 6’7” can wear our standard tie.
  • The Big and Tall tie has extra length for those that need it based on their height or just those who prefer to use knot styles like the half windsor and others that use more length.

Boy Tie Fit -

  • Length - the best fit for boys ties is when tip of the tie ends at or around the pant/belt line. Think tie ending and pants starting. An inch or two above or below the top of the pant line is still good. If the tie is too long, the tip of the tie will hit way below the pant line and look silly, if the tie is too short, you will see a few buttons on the shirt between the top of the pant and the tip of the tie.

My Son Is Tall for his age- what size should I get?

When in doubt- size up. There will only be a few inch difference in length but when they are a tad longer they still look good and your buddy will get to wear it longer.
