What is your return policy?

We proudly stand behind the quality of our products and we want you to be thrilled with them, too!  If you are not pleased with your purchase, you can exchange unworn products or return them for a full refund. *Please note that Sale Items (including $10 Tuesday Ties or discounted styles) are a Final Sale and we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Please see our entire return policy.

When ordering, please refer to the size chart for the correct fit. If you are trying to match a specific color and are unsure, we are happy to mail you a small fabric swatch so you can see the fabric before purchasing your ties. Please send us an email here and we will have your swatch shipped within 3 business days! 

When will my order ship?

We will do our best to have your order ship as fast as possible. All adult sizes are stocked and ready to go but all youth sizes are sized and completed to order – just for you! Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to ship (although most orders are shipped right away). Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. How do I make changes to my order?

Please email us at hello@boonties.com and we will let you know your options. We try to ship orders as soon as possible so sometimes changes cannot be made, but we’ll do our best to help!

My tracking number is not working, am I crazy?

Please allow up to 24-48 hours for the mail system to scan your package and update the tracking.

My tracking number says my order has been delivered but I can’t find it. What do I do?

You need to call your local Post Office (not the 1-800 number) and they will be able to speak to the specific driver that dropped off the package. They will be able to tell you exactly where the package was left.

What are the dimensions of your Mens Ties and how do they fit?

Modern - (Our original Men's Tie Size) 2.5" wide x 58" long. We call them a modern width- not quite skinny ties but not old school wide ties either. Made to fit men, teens, and boys from 5'2" up to 6'5" tall. Simply adjust where you tie the knot.

NEW Big & Tall size - 3" wide x 62" long. A great option for men who like a more traditional width or for those who need a longer tie. Fits nicely on fellas at least 5'7" up to 6'9" tall.

How do your youth sizes fit?

My Son Is Tall for his age- what size should I get?

When in doubt- size up. There will only be a few inch difference in length but when they are a tad longer they still look good and your buddy will get to wear it longer.

What size are your Boys Bow Ties?

Boon Bow Ties have a very adjustable neck strap so they fit a broad range of ages- we recommend ages 2-16 yrs. 

My Tie has some wrinkles on it- what can I do?

If your tie just has a little wrinkle, try hanging it over a chair overnight or you can roll it up starting with the narrow end and let it sit overnight.

The best way to remove more stubborn wrinkles out of your ties without ironing is the use of steam. If you don’t have a steamer, try this method. Leave the hot water running in the shower for a few minutes, and then hang the tie up behind your door to let the wrinkles out.

How should I care for my Boon Ties?

All boon ties are made by hand to the highest quality- here are some tips to keep them looking new…

• Don’t leave your ties knotted- it’ll permanently crease your ties.
• Don’t wear them out- gather a collection and start a rotation. Giving your ties a break adds to their lifespan.
• When removing your tie, untie the knot by reversing the method used to tie it (don't put the small end of your tie through the knot). After removing, hang the tie on a tie rack or coat collar, or roll it up in a tie organizer.
• Go ahead and throw your tie over your shoulder when you’re eating so you aren’t tempted to use it as a napkin.

How should I clean my Boon Ties?

All boon ties are made of wither wool, cotton, or linen. Stains are best treated with a very small amount of mild detergent on a wet rag- baby wipes are actually our favorite if you have them handy. Avoid scrubbing the tie in one area as to not damage the fabric fibers. Think blot, not scrub. If your entire tie needs to be cleaned, we recommend taking it to your favorite dry cleaner.

The Style/Size I love is sold out- will you restock it?

We will do everything we can to restock our most popular items and sizes that sell out fast. However, most styles sell out each season and we cannot get the same fabrics back in stock. If there is a particular style you would like to check on- please send us an email at hello@boonties.com and we will let you know!

Do you do custom tie orders?

Sorry- we don't do any custom orders at this time. If you are looking for something very specific- let us know and we'll let you know what we have coming out soon!
